Ana Elisa Miranda is the Communications Assistant at IDEA International in the Panama Office. Since June 2023, her work has focused on developing communication strategies for both traditional and digital media, both at the regional level and in Panama, to contribute to electoral assistance and support democracy in and from Panama.

In December 2018, the Electoral Tribunal and IDEA International signed a cooperation agreement to promote transparency and legitimacy in the 2019 electoral process. This milestone marked Panama's incorporation as the thirty-first member country of IDEA International and the ninth in Latin America and the Caribbean. Currently, both parties have renewed their agreement and continue to work on strengthening Panamanian democracy, with a focus on the 2024 elections.

Prior to joining IDEA International, Ana Elisa worked as a Marketing Assistant at the Commercial Office of the Embassy of South Korea in Panama, at the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). During her time at KOTRA, she dedicated herself to market research in the region, managing the organization's social media networks, and providing support in planning events between Korean manufacturers and distributors in Latin America and the Caribbean.
