Amel El Mejri is a  Programme Officer in Tunis Office, Tunisia.

Amel El Mejri has been a valued member of International IDEA since November 1, 2020. With a rich background in international organizations, she has contributed to the African Court of Human and Peoples' Rights, the Arab Atomic Energy Agency, and the UNDP. Amel brings extensive experience in working with civil society organizations, focusing on participatory democracy and local governance at local, regional, and global levels. She is also actively involved in nuclear disarmament through her engagement with the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons.
