Alfonso Ferrufino

Former Senior Adviser

Alfonso Ferrufino worked with planning and analysis at International IDEA's Bolivia Office. He was also involved in advocacy work with partners and strategic decision makers.

Ferrufino has previously worked as a Coordinator of the Democratic Strengthening Programme UNDP/International IDEA (2005-2007), as the Managing Director of the Foundation in Support of Parliament and for Citizen Participation FUNDAPPAC (1997-2005), as Interior Minister (2003-2004), as National Deputy for the department of Cochabamba (1979-1997) and as Second Vice-president of the Lower Chamber (1993-1997).
