Kwasi Anin Yeboah

Kwasi Anin Yeboah was the Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana from 2020 to 2023.  

He began his career as a private legal practitioner 20 years before joining the bench in 2002 as a High Court Judge. A year later, he was appointed to the Court of Appeal and later as a Justice of the Supreme Court in 2008. As a Justice of the Supreme Court, he was a member of the panel which sat on major constitutional cases including the notable Election Petition in 2013. After 12 years of service, he was appointed as the Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana in 2020 and he chaired the panel which sat on another constitutional case of Election Petition in 2020.

He was the Chairman for the FIFA Disciplinary Committee for many years and is currently the Deputy Chairman since 2020. He also chairs the newly established Governing Council of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), the second largest public university established in Ghana focusing on the study of various fields in science and technology. The Governing Council is the highest administrative and policy-making body in the University.
